You start with the assault on the Pillar of Autumn, followed by the wide open, sandbox-style mission of "Halo," and then book-ended with the stealthy, nighttime sniper mission, "The Truth And Reconciliation." It's hard not to think back to that third mission when one plays "Nightfall," a mission in "Halo: Reach" which takes place at night and starts you off with a sniper rifle, assaulting Covenant bases set along a cliff side.ĭespite the basic similarities, much has changed in Halo since that first game.
